There has been a lot of talk about the new Gmail plugin for Blackberry and while the plugin adds quite a bit of functionality to your Gmail inbox there are some downsides to it as well in my opinion.  I have quite a few business email accounts from my websites, a personal Gmail account, and recently have added a new business Gmail account.  This can make my icon screen quite chaotic and to add to the mayhem the Gmail plugin actually adds an extra icon for the SAME inbox, 2 ICONS is this really necessary?  So I recently decided to delete my BIS Gmail accounts and go download the Gmail mobile application again.  For those of you that are new to Blackberry this application adds a few key features that I find quite desirable.  Before I go into the features the app can be found at m.google.com/mail  I have also included Google's video overview of the application below.

Key Features:

• The ability to log out(since you can not "pause" BIS email accounts)
• Manage multiple Gmail accounts(Work, Personal, Etc.)
• Search inbox(including your chats if you log them)
• View Gmail contacts
• Add stars to your messages
