Storm 9530 5.0 Theme Fix
Ok Blackberry Cool posted this and normally I don’t post things directly from other sites so I of course had to do this the hard way to make sure that I pass on good information to my users.
I have a storm but its not my primary Blackberry and I had no intention of upgrading until I got some verifiable reports that the upgrade was solid. Now that it has effected themes specifically I figured I needed to do a little R+D
I upgraded my Storm 9530 to the OFFICIAL(trying not to laugh) and was promptly greeted by the ugly wallpaper bug. As reported the fix does work but I will break it down for you step by step.
First and foremost this fix does work but it has to be done each time you change your theme or your wallpaper.
Step 1. Change to the theme you would like to use.
Step 2. Change your wallpaper to a new wallpaper of your choice(I will be posting some wallpapers for premium members so that you can basically change your wallpaper to the stock theme wallpaper)
Step 3. After changing your wallpaper, navigate to options, then to Themes. You will notice a blue box next to your active theme. Tap on the box and you will be taken to an options screen.
Step 4. Once you open the theme options change it from 2 rows to 1 row. It will ask you to save. Go ahead and save it but do not back out of the screen. After you save change it back to 2 rows and save again.
Your theme should now operate as normally intended. This may seem a bit complicated but once you do it, I’m sure you will understand. Any questions feel free to let me know.

my problem is i cannot get the themes to load at all and this is becoming very aggravating because i hate the original one, could you offer me help with this predicament, thank you
I can help you out, what have you tried?
i have tried emailing it to my phone and downloading it from the email, putting it directly on the phone memory then the card memory and downloading it but every time i try to download it comes back and says it fails
which theme did you try to download?
This is not working for me..
one called the Punisher 4.7 i have it on my computer just cant get it to work on my phone, and i tried others and they dont work either
Ok, I have tried the fix as stated above and it does not fix it. I have tried it several times and with different themes. Any suggestions?

hello…can someone please help me…i have a blackberry storm 9530..and i want to download some other theme for my phone….my phone does not have a data packet…it has been flashed on to the cricket network. is there anyway i can download apps or themes, i do have the internet on the phone….
